About

I’ve been a designer, art director and creative director. And sometimes all three at the same time. Throughout the course of my career, I’ve been lucky enough to work on some of world’s most iconic brands including: Nike, General Motors, Tesco/Fresh & Easy, Helio, Dr Pepper, TGIFriday’s, Expedia, Old Navy, Coors Brewing Company, Sony Playstation, The Walt Disney Company, Mitsubishi Motors and many others.

I’ve also been fortunate to win some recognition along the way including the Award of Excellence from Communcation Arts 2010 Design Review. I’ve been profiled in the annual reviews of Graphis and Print magazines as well as published work in Graphis Logos 6 and Logo Lounge 3, 4. But beyond any accolades, to me it’s always been about about delivering strategic, engaging and relevant creative solutions that connect with consumers and drive sales.

I never aspired to be a rock star, astronaut or talk show host but instead always wanted to be doing great work alongside interesting and creative people. I enjoy being involved in every aspect of the creative process and I am passionate about the details. The final result has to be perfect, but it’s the journey and experience that is the real thrill.

Currently, I reside in San Rafael, CA with my wife and two children, a really old dog and an angry cat. In my spare time, I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience as an instructor at Otis College of Art and Design and the Art Academy SF.
